WinSNAP Traditional POS mode was designed for use with SL-TECH's inexpensive "fast food style" POS units, such as the Mira. These economical devices are intended for long lasting performance in the rugged cafeteria environment. Traditional POS allows you to implement a system at the lowest possible cost; yet gives you the flexibility to upgrade to touch screen and SNAPXpress mode if and when you choose!

From the privacy of the office, a manager can monitor in real time:

Graphic Terminal mode was designed with two purposes in mind:

Eliminate the need for PIN numbers, ID cards, or roster/wand systems at the POS.

Graphic Terminal mode is perfect for elementary schools where students pass through the POS by classroom or homeroom. Student photos appear on-screen as a photo roster; the cashier simply touches a child's photo to record that child's transaction. No cards, no PIN numbers - nothing for the child to remember (or forget)!

Provide a convenient way for managers to edit POS sessions.

If a mistake is discovered after a POS session, a manager can easily correct it at her desk computer, without heading for the serving line. Class field trips? No problem - right from the desk, a manager can easily process a class of students through POS. Convenient, easy edits from the manager's desk!
